2017 SUMMER CAMP

upcoming event

The Lower Makefield Historical Society in co-operation with the Artists of Yardley will hold its Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Patterson Farm, 949 Mirror Lake Rd. in Lower Makefield . This event is open to the public and will feature an exhibit of “Yardley- Past and Present” photographs and other historic memorabilia.  We are pleased to have as our special guest Carl LaVo. Carl, a weekly columnist with two Bucks County papers, will give a local interest presentation and greet attendees.  Carl specializes in exploring and researching the obscure and odd spots in the county and enjoys sharing his new found knowledge with the public. His recent book, Bucks County Adventures, will be available for sale at the event. In addition, an original Keith Mountford print featuring the Patterson Farm, will be raffled. Raffle tickets, which may be purchased on that day, are $2 each or 3 for $5.  The event will run from 3:00-5:00 and refreshments will be served. The farm house is accessible but if you have any special needs, please call Pat Miiller, 215-806-2802, for assistance or further information.
